Kananaskis Country Hoedown

Kananaskis Country Hoedown

Bring your group to Boundary Ranch for a fun-filled lunch or dinner time experience! On arrival browse the gift shop, have coffee on the patio and tour the lodge, featuring examples of area wildlife and authentic Native artifacts.

A horse drawn hayride will take you on the scenic trails surrounding Boundary Ranch with a stop to view the Buffalo in the viewing paddock. The hayride is about twenty minutes in length and seats 20 guests a trip.

On return, the aroma of the patio barbeque will whet your appetite. A delicious meal of Boundary Burgers or BBQ Steaks comes with hearty homemade baked beans, baked potato with all the trimmings and a fresh garden salad, followed by a selection of enticing desserts and ice cream, is served. Freshly brewed coffee, tea or iced tea is included.

After your meal, perhaps “Lonesome & Lester” might be around to get the crowd going. This mechanical horse and calf will bring out the “cowperson” in everyone. Ask for details!

The well-stocked gift shop offers quality western themed goods, souvenir items and Boundary Ranch’s own line of Canadian made casual wear. Guests can browse the shop, spend some time in the roping area, throw a few horseshoes or take a tour of the corral and barn where they will meet cowboys or cowgirls and our horses. A great way to spend a few hours in the heart of the mountains surrounding the Kananaskis Valley!
